- Yes. AROMA NOVA has a portfolio of more than 6,000 fragrance formulas covering a wide range of fragrance families, styles and market positions.
- How many perfume formulas do you have?
- More than 6,000 fragrance formulas.
- Can I customize an existing fragrance?
- Yes. An existing direction can be adapted — for example in character, intensity or concentration — and re-evaluated through samples before the formula is approved.
- Can you develop perfume from scratch?
- Yes. Development can start from a blank page, guided by an olfactory brief.
- Can I request a custom fragrance?
- Yes. Custom fragrance development is one of our core services and begins with a brief describing the brand, market and desired character.
Manufacturing models
- What is a private label perfume manufacturer?
- A private label perfume manufacturer produces perfume that is sold under the client's own brand name. The manufacturer handles fragrance, formulation and production; the brand owns the label, positioning and distribution.
- Do you offer contract manufacturing?
- Yes. AROMA NOVA offers contract perfume manufacturing, producing to an approved formula and specification.
- Do you offer white label perfume?
- Yes. Products can be built on existing fragrance directions from our portfolio and supplied under your brand.
- Do you offer OEM perfume manufacturing?
- Yes. In an OEM engagement AROMA NOVA manufactures according to the client's specification, where the necessary information is available.
- Do you offer ODM perfume manufacturing?
- Yes. In an ODM engagement AROMA NOVA develops the fragrance and product definition for the client's brand.
Packaging & filling
- Can you help with perfume packaging?
- Yes. Bottles, pumps, caps, labels and secondary packaging are coordinated as part of the project.
- Can you fill perfume bottles?
- Yes. Filling, closing, labeling and packing are part of our manufacturing scope.
Regulatory
- Can you help with EU regulatory requirements?
- Yes. AROMA NOVA supports clients with the product documentation involved in development and manufacturing. Applicable requirements depend on the product and target market, and legal responsibility for placing a product on the market lies with the responsible person defined by the applicable regulation. - What is IFRA?
- IFRA is the International Fragrance Association, which issues standards on the use of fragrance materials in finished products. These standards are widely applied in fragrance formulation.
- What is CPSR?
- A Cosmetic Product Safety Report is the safety assessment of a finished cosmetic product, prepared by a qualified safety assessor.
- What is CPNP?
- CPNP is the Cosmetic Products Notification Portal, the EU portal through which cosmetic products are notified before being placed on the market.
- What is a PIF?
- A Product Information File is the documentation kept for a cosmetic product by the responsible person, including product description, safety assessment, manufacturing information and evidence of claimed effects where relevant.
Starting a project
- How does the perfume development process work?
- The process runs in eight stages: brief, fragrance development, samples, formula approval, regulatory and documentation, manufacturing, filling and packaging, and finished product.
- How do I start my own perfume brand?
- Define the brand concept, select or develop the fragrance, choose the concentration and product format, select bottle and packaging, prepare the product documentation, manufacture, fill and pack, and then launch.
- What information do you need for a perfume development project?
- Useful input includes your brand positioning, target market, fragrance direction or reference fragrances, product format and concentration, packaging expectations, the markets you intend to sell in, and indicative quantities.
